A group offered to adults (18 and over) struggling with anxiety. The group covers information and education about anxiety, relaxation and coping skills, identifying and changing automatic thinking, thought distortions, and mistaken beliefs, role of exercise and nutrition, and communication. A self-esteem/social skills group is offered multiple times throughout the year for 6-9 year old and for 9-12 year old children. Children will interact with peers in a therapeutic environment and address issues such as: respecting boundaries, expressing feelings appropriately, dealing with teasing and anger, identifying self and others positively, and accepting responsibility for wrong-doing. Groups for children and teens are offered at various times throughout the year, and help children learn strategies to better manage their anger. The group meets weekly for six weeks.

In this 8-week group, patients will work to build a foundation for emotional balance. The program is designed for patients who struggle with emotional regulation, in order to enhance their individual counseling experience.
